    Hereu inaugurates the largest ultra-fast charging network for electric vehicles in Galicia

    These are two stations, located in different strategic sections of the AP9, which add up to 32 charging points. Spain closed 2025 with more than 53,000 public charging points, 37% more than the previous year. The Spain Auto 2030 Plan allocates 300 million euros to continue expanding the recharging infrastructure.

    Jordi Hereu presents the Profarma Plan to strengthen Spain’s pharmaceutical leadership

    The event brought together representatives of the Administration, the industry and the scientific field in two round tables focused on the assessment of more than three decades of the program and on the future challenges of the public-private collaboration The Minister of Industry and Tourism has reaffirmed the commitment of the Government with an industry that generates an added value equivalent to 2% of the national GDP and constitutes one of the main engines of innovation of the Spanish economy The 2025 edition of the plan has counted with the participation of 54 pharmaceutical companies, of which 43 have been beneficiaries, consolidating the interest of the industry for an initiative that has been considered a reference to boost industrial competitiveness and pharmaceutical innovation in Spain

    Industry extends CO2 support to more than 20 new industrial sectors and strengthens protection against carbon leakage

    The amendment incorporates new industrial activities, such as chemistry, glass, ceramics, textiles, wood and batteries, and increases the maximum grant intensity for the sectors already benefiting up to 80% The reform adapts the Spanish regulations to the recent update of the European guidelines on state grants linked to the emission rights trading system These measures are an addition to the effort made by the Government to support the electrointensive industry. In the call for proposals for 2025 alone, 600 million euros were allocated to offset the indirect costs of CO2
