    Hereu confirms the good times of the Spanish private shipyards with 65 vessels in portfolio and more than 3,000 M€ in orders

    The Spanish shipbuilding industry generates more than 88,700 jobs (+15% year-on-year) and contributes more than 12,700 million euros to the Spanish economy (+21% year-on-year). Spain is the 2nd EU power in contracting and order book, with more than 90% of the contracting destined for export, and builds more than 20% of the global portfolio with hydrogen based capacities. In addition, it is the 1st EU power in offshore wind, oceanographic research, aquaculture and passenger transport.
