    Among other issues, the 8th National Industry Congress will address quantum technology and artificial intelligence, areas which Spain aspires to be the European leader in.The Minister of Industry and Tourism has committed to strategic autonomy in the field of technology, particularly in quantum and photonic technologies, with a particular emphasis on strengthening industrial competitiveness.The Government is committed to leading the way in new technologies, which is why last April it presented Spain's first Quantum Technologies Strategy 2025-2030, with a budget of €808 million..The Ministry of Industry and Tourism is focused on generating new productive sectors with high added value, such as chips and semiconductors, to which it has dedicated the PERTE Chip programme, with investments so far of €330 million.

    The carnivals of the municipalities of Manzaneda, Viana do Bolo and Vilariño de Conso, in the province of Orense, receive this joint distinction for their ancestral character and cultural values.. The Secretary of State, Rosario Sánchez, values the union between the town councils to make the request and that their festivities ‘have been preserved to a greater extent than in other places’. These are traditional carnivals in neighbouring towns, and the residents of each municipality, grouped together in folións (processions), join in the celebrations in other municipalities.
