    Industry strengthens industrial governance in a new High Level Forum

    As a main novelty, the Industrial Dialogue Committee is created, a permanent executive body that will provide greater agility, continuity and effectiveness to the work of the Forum and strengthen public-private collaboration. The new regulation expands the functions of the Forum, strengthening its role in the design, evaluation and monitoring of industrial policies, with the objective of boosting the productivity, competitiveness and sustainability of Spanish industry. With this measure, the Ministry of Industry and Tourism is committed to a more solid, transparent and participatory model of industrial governance.

    Hereu calls to lead the European industry of the future in an uncertain world

    Strengthening European strategic autonomy, reindustrializing with sustainability criteria and moving towards large pan-European projects capable of gaining scale and securing supplies are today at the center of the agenda. For Hereu, Spain starts from a favorable position thanks to the promotion of the energy transition, renewable energies, digitalization and PERTE. The IND+I Day has served Minister Hereu to claim talent, innovation and education as pillars of the European industrial future, as well as the need to provide a stable regulatory framework through a new Law of Industry and Strategic Autonomy.

    Industry awards 128,8 M€ to 107 projects within the Industrial Value Chain Drive Program

    Outstanding awards such as those of Renault in Palencia with two projects totaling 10.6 million euros, the company Noel de Girona, with 7.9 million, Aluminios Cortizo de A Coruña with 7 million, or Frutas del Segre in Lleida with 4.9 million euros. The Industrial Value Chain Drive (CVI) program aims to strengthen the competitiveness of Spanish industry by facilitating its transition to a more innovative, sustainable and digitalized economy.

    The Government grants the celebration of the Moors and Christians of Elda the distinction of Festival of International Tourist Interest

    Culture, tradition and citizen participation have been the keys of the international recognition granted by the Ministry This distinction, the 16th Festival of International Tourist Interest that the Valencian Community achieves, reinforces the positioning of the municipality of Elda as a tourist and cultural reference of the region The Secretary of State of Tourism, Rosario Sánchez, has thanked all the citizens of Elda for their involvement "in a unique celebration that attracts thousands of visitors to live acts that show the cultural richness that there is in our country" The festivities last five days, around the first Sunday of June.
