Hereu opens the Barcelona Tourism Convention and announces €96 million in funding for the digital transformation of the tourism sector

Tourist arrivals in Spain reached 5 million in February, a 15.9% increase compared to the same month last year, with spending amounting to 6.747 billion euros in the same month. Each tourist spent an average of 1,347 euros in February, marking an 8.5% increase compared to 2023, while daily spending also saw a rise, reaching 173 euros, reflecting a 5.8% year-on-year increase.
