A total of 8 operators will participate in the auction completing the bidding process for the entire radio spectrum
Radio spectrum auction
The Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade is opening the bidding process for the frequency blocks which were unassigned in last summer's auction, a total of 50 MHz.
24 frequency blocks in the 900 MHz and 2.6 GHz bands will be available, with a total opening price of over 189 million euros.
The State has so far obtained funds totalling €1.815 billion in all calls for tenders, and the operators to be awarded the auctioned frequencies are also committed to investments of €733 million.
