Summary

The management and regulation of Corporate Organisation of the profession of industrial engineers in Spain began with the constitution of the General council by decree 1932/1969, of 24 august. Subsequently issued law 2/1974, of 13 february, on Professional Colleges, which set out in its first transitional provision that the statutes of the existing schoolboys continue in force in everything that he did not oppose the provisions of this law and without prejudice to statutory adaptations in accordance with the provisions of the legal text mentioned. Years later, the act 74/1978 of 26 december, of rules governing professional associations, which adjusted the regime of Schools to the constitution, and the law 7/1997, of 14 april of protective measures in the area of soil and Professional Associations. The current General Statutes of official secondary schools of industrial engineers and General Council were approved by royal decree 1332/2000 of 7 july, which adopted the statutes Of the Official Schools of industrial engineers and General council. However, given the time elapsed and the changes that had taken place since then in the profession, it is necessary for an update on the same.

Thus, in accordance with article 26.6 of law 50/1997, of 27 november, the government, and in the order PRE/1590/2016, 3 october, by the agreement of the council of ministers of 30 september 2016, by issuing instructions to enable public participation in the process of drafting legislation through the websites of ministerial departments, public participation of the draft royal decree of reference and the memory of Regulatory Impact analysis in order to provide hearing citizens affected and seek few additional contributions can be done by other persons or entities.
